Why did you join the UCF Cares Ambassadors?
I joined the group my second semester here in UCF. I was a transfer student so I really wanted to get involved with something that would allow me to reach out to students about resources I never knew about when I transferred school. I am also a passionate advocate of self-care and a healthy balance lifestyle, and UCF Cares promotes a lot of these types of sources. I joined because I had an interest in helping people, I wanted to make an impact somewhere in the community and not just feel like a number at a huge school.
Favorite UCF Cares event:
I love UCF Cares day, it really showcases our connections with all the other campus resources that we work with, and I think it caters well to first-year students. I have always had a great time at this event, and I love seeing students find out new information that could potentially impact their education at UCF.
Fun Fact:
I have a lot of school spirit! I was a number of the marching knights for 2 years and I really love attending all the games.
